Powder Of Temperament

Das \"Temperaments-Puder\" *hehe - doller Name* bekommt man als Belohnung für diverse Smithy-Bods.
Nach einem Doppelklick auf die Puderdose *hehe - ich übertreffe mich heute selbst* muss man irgend etwas anklicken. Aber was?

Ich fand dann heraus, dass man damit eine Waffe \"einpudern\" kann. Allerdings konnte ich danach keine Wirkung bzw. gezeigte Änderung bei den Werten der Waffe feststellen. Bis auf die Tatsache, dass danach alle Harpys in Covetous vor meinem Warrior wegliefen.

Kann mir jemand mehr Infos/Details/Feinheiten zu diesem Item geben? *völlig ratlos - denn auch auf UOSS fand ich nicht viel*

:) Hm .... bitte ned festnageln, aber Waffen und Rüstungen verlieren nach meinem Kenntnisstand beim reparieren an Durability. So werden Waffen und Rüstungen trotz eifriger Pflege durch einen Schmied irgendwann trotzdem das zeitliche segnen. Mit dem Powder kann man ihnen die volle Durability wiedergeben, so dass man um seine blessed vanq katana nunmehr nicht mehr bangen muss....

Den folgenden Post hab ich vor einiger Zeit aus den OSI Boards kopiert:

\"A side note on the powder of temperament...

Currently, damage is scaled down by how much a weapon is damaged. If you are at maximum durability that a weapon can go with powder of temperament, then the weapon will do more damage than a low durability item if it takes 1 point of durability damage.

If you repair the weapon, it repairs the weapon's durability and decreases the maximum durability by 1.

While it's optimal to use a weapon with 100% durability, a maxed weapon through the powder of temerament is not as adversely affected by losing durability because it is much higher durability than normal or exceptional weapons.

So, the powder lets you fight longer and do closer to maximum damage than lower durability items.

Also, it is a waste to use the powder of temperament if you've only repaired it once. You'll notice this with Age of Shadows. Powder of Temperament increases the maximum durability by 10, and not 1. :)

A little math to explain this:
A 100 maximum durability, fully repaired weapon takes 1 point of damage. That's 1% of its maximum durability. That weapon would do less damage by a specific percentage (not sure of the exact algorithm as there are other factors involved).

A 200 maximum durability, fully repaired weapon takes 1 point of damage. That's 0.5% of its maximum durability. That weapon would be scaled less than a 100 maximum durability weapon.

Powder of Temperament increases beyond 200. Your scaled numbers are quite low over 200 maximum durability. In fact, you shouldn't notice much of a damage change at all if you have repaired the item ten times in a row and it gets damaged a little prior to repairing it. Age of Shadows should let you see this a little clearer and give you better strategies for choosing what weapon to wield in combat.
